While TikTok is a relatively new platform, it is taking the social media world by storm! Recently TikTok launched a Shopify tab for business that use that eCommerce website to create a storefront directly on their profiles. If you are a Shopify business you can use that new feature, but if you are not, there are still ways for you to promote your ecommerce business through your social media posting!
Use the new features when they launch. Showing your viewers that you are on trend and keeping up with the new features will put you ahead of your competition. Even though TikTok’s algorithm has not been released, it is safe to assume that if you use their new features your content may be promoted over others (similar to Instagram).
Influencer marketing. This kind of marketing is the fastest way to get your product in front of thousands of potential customers. It also serves as social proof that your product is worth buying. Figuring out your budget and potential partners takes some research, but you will see almost immediate growth and sales.
Branded effects. Boost your brand’s name throughout TikTok with branded effects! The app’s users like making videos so by providing a fun filter, lens, sticker, or effect, it engages new customers!
Choose trending audio. TikTok began as a music app so trending music and sounds are the best way to increase your views! They have made it super easy to find trending music through their “Discover” tab.
